Hi! Terry Foley is a composer-lyricist and musician from New York City. He studied Music and Computer Science at Columbia University, where he composed and performed for the musical theatre department. t
As a musical theater writer, his shows include Redacted, XMAS!18, ValentinesX, and Explaining Elizabeth.
As a theater musician, he has Music Directed shows such as Footloose and Lemon Water, arranged music for orchestras for shows such as The 129th and 130th Annual Varsity Shows and XMAS!17, and performed as a musician for shows such as In The Heights, Head Over Heels, The Simon Suites, Matilda, SpongeBob SquarePants The Musical, Urinetown, Reefer Madness, and Rent.
Terry also composes and performs outside of musical theatre. He has composed original music for groups such as Atomic Girl, El Fuego, and Abstract Verses, and performed with over twenty original bands and ensembles all over the United States.
He provides a wide variety of music services, including (but not limited to) Composition, Orchestration, Arranging, Music Copying, Transcription, Piano Accompaniment Tracks, and Audition Prep/Coaching.
Terry is also a skilled and versatile musician: having played for more than 20 years, he performs professionally on piano, guitar, bass, drums, and saxophone. He also works as a freelance composer for film, TV, video games, dance, and podcasts.
